Boruch Mermelstein joined Shomrim of Crown Heights and got involved with the Hershkop gang. His life turned into a mess of Crown Heights politics and drama over it. His wife gave him an ultimatum, leave that violent gang of felons or we are getting divorced. Needless to say he got divorced, then he left the gang but his wife would not take him back.
Eliezer Kievman was a member of Shomrim and his child began having health problems. B”H when he left Shomrim his child’s health got better. What a message from up above that is.
Ben Tzion Turk, another one who was negatively affected by being involved with that gang. His child also started having health issues and unfortunately passed away. Ben Tzion blames it on being involved with that violent sadistic gang and he dropped out.
